John is Managing Shareholder of the firm. Upon graduation from law school, John joined the firm of Clark, Ladner, Fortenbaugh & Young in 1989. He joined Hollstein Keating at its inception in 1996 and became a shareholder of the firm in 1997.
John's practice includes representation of professional sports teams in all types of liability litigation. He also offers risk management and liability prevention consultation to sports teams in wide areas including drafting and review of vendor proposals and contracts, indemnity and insurance provisions, public signage and patron communications.
In addition, John is regional counsel to several national product manufacturers, litigating both products liability and commercial disputes. He has successfully presented multiple Daubert challenges to opposing experts in products liability cases, resulting in dispositive defenses for his clients.
He has tried cases throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey involving a wide range of products. John also has extensive experience in the areas of Construction Litigation and Premises Liability.
John was born in Middletown, New York on December 17, 1963. He was an All-New York State High School football and baseball player and was an Honorable Mention Adidas High School All-American in football. John lettered in varsity football at Columbia University.
John and his wife, Kathleen, reside in Voorhees, New Jersey, with their sons, Michael and Thomas.
